How to enhance anti-static ESD function when designing PCB?

1. In PCB design, the protection of static electricity generally adopts three measures: isolation, enhancement of the immunity of single board static electricity and the use of protection circuits.

2. For the electrostatic sensitive components on the PCB, the layout should be considered in a place far away from interference, especially the farther away from the electrostatic discharge source, the better, and the electrical isolation and metal casing;

3. Enhance immunity. If the area allows, you can design a grounding protection ring around the PCB board, you can refer to the CompactPCI specification. Large-area ground layer and power layer. For signal layer, it must be close to the power supply or ground layer to ensure the shortest signal loop. For high-frequency circuits of interference sources, local shielding or single-board shielding can be used, and different frequencies are added near the power supply and ground feet. Add decoupling capacitors between the power supply and ground of the integrated circuit, and add some capacitors with appropriate capacitance or resistors with appropriate resistance in series on the signal line. It is a good design to use voltage transient suppressor TVS or TransZorb diode in PCB.
